Metalstep you say?
Dude I've been waiting for someone to put together a nice metalstep tune for sometime now. Let me know when it's done.
Oh and this song is fucking haus.

Yezzir my friend! =) And let me tell you, I've recently done some experimenting with this, and it's the most epic power you could possibly think of. Imagine the drop right before a breakdown, spliced into dubstep. Boom. You've got yourself a "dropdown," which just made me wanna start fist-pumpin'! Now all I've gotta do is sit down, find a way to fit guitar and wobble bass into the mix, and you've got epicness on your ears. Nuff said. Thanks for the support man, and I'll let you know if & when such a project is finished!
I hope you got laid after this...
Yep.
Hehehe best review of the lot! :D
Nice job
Yeah, I'd say it feels just a tad bit drawn out, but its not a big deal. You have a really great song going on here. Perhaps find someone to put some vocals over it? This could definitely evolve into a masterful piece with that. As far as it feeling drawn out, I don't think its the actual time, cus 3:32 isn't bad, but it's the fact that most of the song sounds the same. I guess maybe a little more differentiation between the verses and chorus lines would help. Anyway, I think this is pretty haus as is.
The only thing I would recommend is working on tightening up the transitions from the verses into the choruses. I can hear a split second gap in the sound there. Not a big deal, but just wanted to make you aware of it.
Anyway, great job!

i'm aware of it, its because the first transition is supposed to sort of 'trip' into the piano and it does it right, but the ones after that are all messed up.
and you are very right about vocals, i've been thinking of doing vocoding or something, but i'm a bass and my voice is awkward for music like this. if you know anyone interested in collabing and doing vocals for a track or something like that, shoot me a message because that would be beeeeast.
A NOTE TO EVERYONE ELSE READING THIS: I respond to all reviews. ALL OF THEM
No sir
Fuck you...this song just screams it! Would love to hear it with some samples of Liam Sullivan yelling Fuck YOU! from his Shoes song/skit. But, no, seriously, I like it. It made me laugh.
Fuck you
hahaha that's a good idea. Thanks!
This is some bullshit
That was fucking insane man. It reminded me of the Bowser World theme from Mario 64...except on crack. Awesome job, a bit short though. But still...

Yeah, it was gonna be longer, but that's all we ended up getting done :(
And he's humble too...
This is one beautiful piece bro. And that break...just wow. It took me by surprise. I literally got chills listening to this. This is some deadly serious epic trance... full of energy, yet you maintained to give it a slightly melancholy feel with the progression of the notes. You should really be getting paid to jam out. Honestly this reminds me a lot of Tiesto's work, but I gotta say, I think I like this more...it's original, it's moving, it's a lot of things, good things. Fantastic work once again.

Heh didn't think people would like it this much.
you mother fucker
I love this...make it longer please! Great little happy tune with a lot of intricacies.
well, I WOULD make it longer, but I am lazy. Its a problem.... That, and just mentioning that I spent around an Hour just making this 13 second loop.... It was painfully slow...
But, Thanks for the review! :D
hmm
you're a fan of between the buried and me or war from a harlots mouth then...really kick ass job with this song. I'm not the biggest metal guy, more into the hardcore scene, but you have some nice technical picking skills there and I can respect that.
Hey, glad that you like the song even if you're more into hardcore. Appreciate it! Definitely a BTBAM fan, yes! :)
