Hmmm...
Alrighty, here we go.
There were some very good things about this, but also a lot I didn't like. But I'm a fair reviewer so I'm going to tell you what I think and give you what I believe you deserve for this. First and foremost...I hate midi guitar, and I'm sure you do too. It sounds terrible, and yes I have used it before. You can, however, make the midi guitar sound a little better. For instance, if you are using FL Slayer in FL Studio, use the multiband compressor and add some more middle and low gain to the rhythm guitar, while taking away from the high gain. For the lead, do the opposite. Also, using fast distortion from FL just ever so lightly also helps with the edginess of the guitar. As far as the drums go, they didn't sound very metal...not how they were composed, but the actually sound of the kit wasn't very metal. I've played in many a metal bands and no one's kit has had as a poppy sounding snare as I hear in this. Counter this with some gain variations. While I'm still on the drums, the crash and the ride were very weak. Now...I know you where using a midi kit and guitar so I'm not upset about that fact because you had some very nice compositions here. The good thing about this song is that even though you had to use shitty ass midi and vst stuff, people can hear this and know you aren't bad at composing. For what you had here I'd say you made a valiant attempt and came out with a pretty good product that could use a little tweaking. Anyway, hope some of this helps! Keep up making tunes bro!
